what I love about blogging
Do you want to know what I like about blogging? It's how you get to know things about people that you already know--- but that you would probably never find out in real life. The best example is of my (former) roommate. We only see eachother twice a year at roommate parties, and usually there's so much going on that I don't get to really talk personally with her even then. But thanks to her blog, I have been so inspired by her work as a teacher in a public school. She was the first person that a selectively mute girl ever talked to at school! I've also been impressed with what a fun aunt she is; she took her little neice to the ballet of Cinderella by Ballet West, which must have been expensive. That girl is lucky to have an aunt like Kira!I have another friend, Ally, who is the ultimate example of being good in every way. But since she moved to Arizona, I had forgotten how great she really is. She is down there talking to everyone she meets about the Gospel, serving her neighbors, and raising darling children. I miss you Ally! Another thing I'd never know without blogging is how super-sweet Angie's new car is. I feel a little jealous myself. Honestly I do, I had a talk recently about how I may never be able to afford a car that is less than 4 years old.My last hurrah for blogging is just how great is to find old friends and see what they are up to in life. It was crazy to see what these people are doing, and so fun to think of them after so long!I was afraid of blogging at first b/c I didn't want some psycho stalking me, but it's turned into a fun little hobby.Note: please don't be offended if you weren't highlighted here. I still admire you and love reading your blogs. And, I certainly don't believe anything I post is ever worthy of anyone's notice. Sorry if you're looking for inspiration here. :)
